It is with great pride that The Fabulous Hubcaps announce their induction into The Southern Legends Entertainment and Performing Arts Hall of Fame. The induction was presented on Sunday, July 17, 2005 by Sun Records Recording Artist, Vernon Taylor, and his lovely wife Brenda.

The Southern Legends Entertainment and Performing Arts Hall of Fame, located in Portland, Tennessee, was established to honor those artists who have devoted their lives to preserving southern originating music and its heritage. The Hubcaps feel very privileged to have been chosen for this great esteem.

A further honor for The Hubcaps was joining Vernon on stage singing his original song “The Great Big Rock and Roll Show,” and additionally presenting Vernon and Brenda with their very own Hubcaps jackets!

The Hubcaps want to thank Widmarc (Bobby) Clark, Jim Case, Vernon Taylor, and all of the other southern rockabilly artists who have molded and preserved the craft that keeps rock and roll music alive and well today. Their early testament and foundation provided us with both the roots, and the wings, to continue their wonderful music throughout the world. We feel very honored to be chosen to continue their legacy.
